It’s almost weekend!

It’s been another super busy week. Jonah’s cough has finally calmed down, and I am glad it was really nothing serious, considering Pat’s son, Joey had to be on antibiotic as his cough turned out to be some nasty bacterial infection.
Anyway, I got crazy on Wednesday, and booked ourselves tickets to LA in December! I can’t believe I actually did it. Used most of Ian’s points on Frequent flyer. 192,000 points altogether, for the three of us (since Jonah is still travelling free). The tax, however, turned out to be $1228 for the 3 of us! Can’t believe the figure when it first popped up on my computer screen… but well, it’s so much cheaper than paying the full fare. I checked bestflights web, and to travel to LA in December costs more than $3000AUD per person! My gosh. It would’ve been $6500 gone for the tickets already. Thank God for frequent flyer.
I’m still very nervous about this decision. It’ll be a long 3 weeks in the US, and I hope I can stay at Caroline’s place. She offered once… I hope the offer is still valid! 
Ian, however, is still a bit nervous about leaving our house unattended for that long. And to add more craziness to it, we’re flying straight from LA to Melbourne, to join my parents on one of the RCI resorts. Aargh…. I think I AM crazy!
